Since 2015 I have helped organisations by designing and building reliable data platforms to get to knowledge, insight and innovation — for years entirely within the Microsoft ecosystem. An assignment in government put me on the track of open-source technology, and showed me that it can be done differently.
That realisation, and a growing awareness of our one-sided dependence on American Big Tech, were my reasons to take the helm myself. Datavloot was born.
